Avenue Army is five guys from San Diego who make the kind of rock you probably had on a burned CD in high school.

Loud guitars, drums that hit like a door slamming, and choruses you’ll still be humming in the car three days later whether you want to or not. If you grew up on Jimmy Eat World, found Seether somewhere along the way, and never really picked a side, that’s us. That’s the whole thing.

Max Bergstrom sings and plays rhythm guitar. Drew Smith is on bass and backing vocals. Miles Moya plays lead. Rob Derieux is on turntables, which is not a typo. Queston Kwolek plays drums.

We’ve been at this since 2016. We’ve shared stages with Saving Abel, Alien Ant Farm, The Ataris, 3 Pill Morning and Rivals. We’ve had spins on 91X and 93X. We’ve been nominated for a San Diego Music Award twice and lost twice, which we are completely normal about.
